QC Raw Materials Scientist – Visual Inspection

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented QC Raw Materials Scientist to perform visual inspection and compendial analysis of incoming primary packaging materials and biopharmaceutical products. The role operates within a GMP‑regulated environment, ensuring the highest standards of quality, compliance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections using microscopy, light‑box and other analytical instruments.
• Conduct compendial analyses of incoming materials and support site and manufacturing release objectives.
• Execute routine cleaning, verification and upkeep of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain stock checks, sample storage and logistics for visual inspection activities.
• Document results in master laboratory records following Good Documentation Practices.
• Identify document changes, support quality documentation updates and lead process improvements.
• Provide training on technical tasks and collaborate to meet key performance indicators.
• Participate in deviation investigations, CAPA plans, change control actions and preparation for regulatory inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• 1–4 years of GMP experience in a pharmaceutical or biotech setting.
• Understanding of regulations, pharmacopeias and AQL sampling principles.
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaborative spirit, self‑motivation and commitment to quality.
• Ability to maintain an organized workspace and comply with 6S lean standards.
