Account Manager

About the role

Icepharma Velferð is looking for a proactive, solution‑oriented Account Manager to help shape the future of health and welfare services. The role focuses on introducing and scaling innovative health‑tech solutions that empower individuals to live independently while supporting care providers with safe, professional, and efficient services.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the implementation and development of new welfare and healthcare technology solutions.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and service pathways for the health and welfare system.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare institutions, municipalities and other partners.
• Present new solutions, provide consultancy and follow projects from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate closely with international suppliers and partners to develop the market.
• Analyse client needs, propose value‑creating solutions and participate in project management, tendering and contract negotiations.
• Represent the company at presentations, meetings, conferences and educational events both locally and abroad.

Required profile

• Degree in nursing or a comparable health‑science discipline.
• Strong passion for technology, innovation and new solutions in healthcare.
• Solution‑focused mindset, initiative and drive to test new approaches.
• Independent, organized work style with the courage to tackle undefined challenges.
• Excellent communication and networking abilities.
• Ability to quickly understand complex solutions and convey them clearly.
• Experience in sales, consulting, project management or business development is a plus.
• Fluent in Icelandic and English.
