Commercial Operations Executive (Fixed‑Term, Iceland)

About the role

This is a six‑month, full‑time and part‑time position based in Iceland, starting July 2026. The Commercial Operations Executive will provide operational support to PlanetPlanet’s principal commercial partner and help enhance the tax‑free shopping experience for visitors in Iceland.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver in‑store training and raise awareness among staff of key merchant partners about PlanetPlanet’s tax‑free solutions.
• Manage stationery delivery and maintain stock levels at high‑traffic partner locations to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide first‑line phone support on the dedicated Icelandic number, handling customer inquiries promptly.
• Maintain an on‑floor presence during cruise ship arrivals and peak tourist days to assist merchants and shoppers.
• Cover refund points at Keflavík International Airport as well as smaller airports and ports, processing tax‑free refunds.
• Perform administrative tasks and generate reports for the global Tax Free Support team, ensuring accurate data flow.
