Senior Business Development Manager – Pharmaceuticals

About the role

As a Senior Business Development Manager at TevaMedis, you will shape and execute market strategies for generic pharmaceuticals. You will lead B2B business development, manage key accounts and ensure successful market penetration across the Icelandic region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Cluster Head and cross‑functional teams on market entry, lifecycle management and portfolio strategy.
• Drive commercial targets, manage key accounts and provide market, customer and competitive insights.
• Analyze market opportunities, identify profitable portfolios and close sales gaps through partnerships.
• Negotiate offers, manage customer agreements and monitor pricing intelligence to improve margins.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met and oversee daily cluster operations to achieve KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong background in contract negotiation and regulatory compliance.
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to execute commercial strategies under pressure.
