Store Manager - Akureyri

About the role

Sports Direct, part of Frasers Group, is looking for an experienced Store Manager for its Akureyri store. The role centres on leading the team, maintaining high standards and driving store performance while upholding the brand's values.

Key responsibilities

• Team leadership: lead the team, maintain standards, act as a role model for a world-class customer experience and train colleagues to deliver it consistently
• Create an engaging working environment, develop the team through succession planning, give immediate feedback and celebrate success
• Visual merchandising: lead the team in delivering meticulous store presentation and implementing visual merchandising standards aligned with the Sports Direct brand
• Sales and operations: drive store performance beyond set goals, ensure the team follows best practice and supports commercial goals and brand knowledge

Required profile

• Recent management experience
• Passion for retail and people
• Confident leader who can motivate and challenge others
• Data-led and target-driven, detail-oriented
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Willingness to promote the Sports Direct values and culture internally and externally
